Day 1: Marrakech – High Atlas – Ait Ben Haddou – Ouarzazate – Dades Valley

In the morning around 8:00 we will pick you up at your Riad or Hotel in Marrakech, and we will head south of Marrakech and the High Atlas Mountains, crossing the mountain pass of Tizi N'Tichka, stopping to enjoy the wonderful panoramic views and take photos.

Visit the women's Argan Oil cooperative, where we'll discover the traditional production process and learn about the countless health benefits of Argan oil. From there, we'll continue south, taking a 6 km track that leads to the fortified village of Ait Ben Haddou. We'll have time for lunch and to visit its spectacular Kasbah, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This unique setting has been the backdrop for many international films, including Lawrence of Arabia, Gladiator, The Mummy, and The Jewel of the Nile.

After the visit, we will continue our journey to Ouarzazate, also known as the Gateway to the Desert and "The Hollywood of Africa." The city boasts several film studios, including one of the largest in the world, Atlas Studios. From there, we will proceed to the Skoura Palm Grove, an oasis planted in the 12th century by the Almohad Sultan Yaqub al-Mansur, comprised of 700,000 palm trees and countless kasbahs. We will then visit the Valley of Roses, a vital agricultural area for the local population. Rose cultivation is a substantial source of income during the rose blooming season, which begins around April 10th and ends around May 20th, depending on weather conditions. In the afternoon, we will arrive in the Dades Valley and check into a hotel.

Day 2: Dades Valley – Todra Gorges – Rissani – Merzouga

In the morning, departure for the charming city of Tingher, known for its magnificent palm grove. Afterwards, we will arrive at one of the most visited and touristic places in Morocco, the impressive "Todra Gorges". It has formed a gorge with vertical walls, of enormous proportions and great beauty, it is a great paradise for climbers, and a unique place.

Then we will continue our journey towards the desert, passing through the village of Tinjdad, making our next stop for lunch in the Berber village of Touroug until we reach the impressive Merzouga Dunes “Erg Chebbi”, where we will enjoy our traditional hospitality tea.

After a short rest, we will depart in a camel caravan, leaving our luggage in a safe place at the hotel. During the camel ride, we will enjoy a magical sunset over the great dune, followed by dinner and overnight stay in nomadic tents in the heart of the desert under a spectacular blanket of stars.

After dinner we will have the opportunity to play the drums and contemplate a starry sky in the dunes next to the camp.

Day 3: Merzouga – Draa Valley – Anti Atlas – Ouarzazate – Marrakech

Today we'll wake up before dawn to watch the sunrise over the Great Dune, then return to the hostel in Merzouga by camel.

We will have time to shower and have breakfast. Once you are ready, we will begin the journey back to Marrakech, crossing the arid and mysterious pre-desert landscapes, until we reach the Draa Valley, where we will make several stops to enjoy this beautiful valley that runs alongside the river of the same name.

The Draa River is the longest in all of Morocco, as it crosses the entire country, reaching Mauritania.

We will cross the Anti-Atlas Mountains to reach Ouarzazate, where we will have lunch. In the afternoon, we will cross the High Atlas Mountains and arrive in Marrakech around 6:00 PM. Transfer to your hotel or riad; end of the trip and our services.

It was a unique and unforgettable experience with Mohammed, our guide, who was always friendly, always providing timely, concise, and clear explanations. He answered any questions we had and was always willing to help. He is also an excellent driver. The hotels we chose were very good. The desert tents were lovely and charming, with private bathrooms and showers. Our hotel in the desert was the Nomad Palace, and it was wonderful in terms of location, food, staff, entertainment, and accommodations. The meals were also excellent. It's clear this company has experience because everything is well-organized and planned. As constructive criticism, I would suggest providing a speaker or microphone for the guide/driver in the van because those sitting in the back row can't hear the guide's explanations due to being too far away.  Verified From Fez to the desertWe decided to take a trip with friends to explore Morocco. We took the advice of Ismael, our guide, who planned the trip according to our preferences. We started in Marrakech, where he gave us a guided tour of the city, and afterwards we had free time which we used to go to the souk and try different food stalls. The next day we headed towards the desert, stopping along the way to visit Ouarzazate, Dades, the Todra Gorge, and more. In the desert, we did several activities: quad biking, visiting markets, watching sunsets, visiting nomads—in short, we loved it.  Verified Meeting Ahmed has been the best part of the trip!We met Ahmed in Chefchaouen, at his shop in the medina. A wonderful place filled with objects that transport you to countless places and stories. But the best part, without a doubt, was meeting Ahmed and sitting down to chat with him. What a fantastic person! I'm already looking forward to going back and taking a trip to the desert, since we didn't have the chance this time.
