Day 1: Arrival in Tangier, Cape Spartel and the Caves of Hercules

Our journey through northern Morocco begins in Tangier, a fascinating city situated in a privileged location, between the Atlantic Ocean and the Mediterranean Sea.

Depending on the arrival time, we will begin to discover some of the most emblematic places in the city and its surroundings.

We will head towards the famous Cape Spartel, one of the most spectacular spots in northern Morocco. From here, we can enjoy breathtaking views and explore an area where two great bodies of water meet: the Atlantic and the Mediterranean.

Later we will visit the famous Caves of Hercules, one of the most famous places in the Tangier area. This stunning natural enclave is steeped in legend and is especially known for its spectacular opening to the ocean.

Afterwards we will return to the city to discover the Tangier medina, Its narrow streets, the Kasbah, and its lively squares will be the perfect first glimpse into a cosmopolitan city that has been a meeting point for different cultures for centuries.

Day 2: Tangier – Asilah – Tetouan

After breakfast we will begin our journey towards Asilah, one of the most charming coastal cities in northern Morocco.

Asilah is known for its white houses, colorful doors, murals, and beautiful medina surrounded by ancient walls next to the Atlantic Ocean.

We'll have time to stroll leisurely through its streets and enjoy its relaxed, maritime atmosphere. It's an ideal place to discover a different side of Morocco and take photographs of its most beautiful corners.

Then we will continue our journey towards Tetouan, known as The White Dove due to the distinctive color of many of its buildings.

In the afternoon, we can explore its impressive medina, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Its narrow alleyways, traditional markets, artisan workshops, and small squares retain a very special atmosphere.

Day 3: Tetouan and Tamuda Bay, the Moroccan Mediterranean

After breakfast we will have time to continue enjoying Tetouan and get to know the atmosphere of this historic city in northern Morocco better.

We will then continue our route towards Tamuda Bay, one of the most attractive coastal areas on the Moroccan Mediterranean coast.

We will arrive at our accommodation and have the afternoon free to relax after the first few days of travel.

We can enjoy the beach, relax by the pool, or simply contemplate the Mediterranean.

Tamuda Bay will also be a strategic location within our journey, as from this area we will prepare to experience one of the most special moments of the entire trip.

Day 4: Total Solar Eclipse of August 2, 2027 and Chefchaouen

Today we will experience one of the most extraordinary moments of our trip through Morocco.

He August 2, 2027 a spectacular event will take place Total Solar Eclipse, an exceptional astronomical phenomenon that can be observed from certain areas of North Africa.

We will enjoy this event from the planned observation point within the totality zone.

For a few minutes we can live an unforgettable experience, observing how the daylight changes and the landscape transforms during one of the most impressive natural phenomena that exist.

Once this experience is over, we will continue our journey towards the Rif Mountains.

Our destination will be Chefchaouen, known internationally as the famous Blue City of Morocco.

We will arrive in the afternoon and have time to start discovering its charming streets, small squares and colorful corners.

Chefchaouen is one of Morocco's most photogenic destinations and a perfect place to end the day enjoying the tranquility of the Rif Mountains.

Day 5: Chefchaouen, the Blue City – Tangier

After breakfast we will enjoy a peaceful morning in Chefchaouen.

We'll explore its famous medina, a labyrinth of narrow streets painted in different shades of blue. During our walk, we'll discover small artisan shops, hidden courtyards, and lively squares.

We will have time to stroll around at a leisurely pace, take photographs and enjoy one of the most special places in Morocco.

After lunch we will begin our return journey towards Tangier.

Upon arrival, we will have free time to enjoy the city, do some last-minute shopping, have a drink on a terrace, or simply take a stroll before ending our trip.

Day 6: Tangier and transfer to the airport

After breakfast we will have the last few free hours in Tangier.

Depending on the flight departure time, we can enjoy a final stroll, do some shopping, or have a coffee before the transfer.

From my first contact with Mila when making the reservation, she was in touch with me, acting as the group's spokesperson, long before the trip even started, answering all my questions and more! The organization was absolutely perfect, the hotels were generally very good, and a special mention goes to the Nomad Desert Hotel, which was truly beautiful, as was the Berber tent camp. The breakfast and dinner, which were included in the price, were very good, and thanks to the excellent advice and attention of our guide, Mohamed, the lunch, which wasn't included, was also perfect. Mohamed deserves a special mention in my comments, as he made the trip so much fun and we felt like family. He's a very endearing person and incredibly knowledgeable about his region, so his explanations were fascinating. Thanks to him, we were able to better understand the way of life of the desert people. Everything we saw was breathtaking. Although the journey to the desert from Marrakech is quite long and includes stretches of winding mountain road (the road is very good and new, so don't worry), Mohamed made it seem much shorter. He's a fantastic driver. As he says, if you learn to drive on the dunes, everything else is easy. I encourage anyone wanting to visit the Moroccan desert to book with them. We are a group of seven friends who just returned from this wonderful desert trip. We took a five-day tour. It was a unique and unforgettable experience with Mohammed, our guide, who was always friendly, always providing timely, concise, and clear explanations. He answered any questions we had and was always willing to help. He is also an excellent driver. The hotels we chose were very good. The desert tents were lovely and charming, with private bathrooms and showers. Our hotel in the desert was the Nomad Palace, and it was wonderful in terms of location, food, staff, entertainment, and accommodations. The meals were also excellent. It's clear this company has experience because everything is well-organized and planned. As constructive criticism, I would suggest providing a speaker or microphone for the guide/driver in the van because those sitting in the back row can't hear the guide's explanations due to being too far away. Mohammed, our guide, repeated his explanations without any problem... but it's an issue that needs improvement.

From Fez to the desertWe decided to take a trip with friends to explore Morocco. We took the advice of Ismael, our guide, who planned the trip according to our preferences. We started in Marrakech, where he gave us a guided tour of the city, and afterwards we had free time which we used to go to the souk and try different food stalls. The next day we headed towards the desert, stopping along the way to visit Ouarzazate, Dades, the Todra Gorge, and more. In the desert, we did several activities: quad biking, visiting markets, watching sunsets, visiting nomads—in short, we loved it. We plan to repeat the experience to continue exploring Morocco, and we'll definitely do it again with ViajesDesierto, an experience we highly recommend to everyone.

The experience was fantastic from the start. They picked us up at the airport, the service was excellent, and our driver, Ahmed, was the best. He went at our pace, catered to our requests for food, and took us wherever we wanted, without any rush. The experience was very good. The only slight inconvenience was that we had to pay in cash, and we didn't travel with cash. We were able to resolve this with a Western Union transfer. Otherwise, the experience was excellent.
