Once an important strategic stronghold, it now boasts numerous historical monuments, wide avenues, manicured gardens, and a medina less chaotic than other cities. Its Almohad walls, the iconic Hassan Tower, and the Mausoleum of Mohammed V reflect the cultural richness of this capital, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Rabat is also an increasingly popular destination for travelers looking to start their Moroccan adventure from a comfortable, safe and well-connected location.

All of Rabat's main monuments are spread between the historic medina and the modern city. Among its most prominent attractions are the Kasbah of the Udayas, with its white and blue houses facing the ocean, the Hassan Tower—an unfinished 12th-century minaret—and the impressive Mausoleum of Mohammed V, one of the country's most important monuments.
